From Kakamega’s rainforests and Indian Ocean beaches via the magnificent Mt. Kenya National Park to rolling grasslands of the Masai Mara and searing deserts on the shores of the Jade Sea - with The Rift Valley slicing through a massive gash - stunning landscapes set the scene. But your eyebrows rise when you hear of Kenya being rated as one of the top five bird watching destinations in the world and is equally famous for trekking in the glacial ridges of Mt. SAT-NAIROBI NAIROBI SERENA
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you’ll be met by our representative and transferred to a hotel in Nairobi. After checking-in at the hotel our representative will brief you on the safari and the general conditions during your stay in Kenya. Overnight at the Nairobi Hotel on Bed and Breakfast basis.
SUN-SAMBURU SAMBURU INTREPIDS CAMP
Depart after breakfast for the semi arid and rugged landscape of Samburu Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at the Samburu Intrepids Camp or similar (approx. 360 km). Lunch is followed by a game drive after which you will return to the lodge by late evening. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Intrepids Camp or similar.
MON-SAMBURU SAMBURU INTREPIDS CAMP
An early morning game drive is followed by breakfast. Spend rest of the morning at the lodge enjoying the lodge’s facilities. Lunch at the lodge is followed by a another game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Samburu Intrepids Camp or similar.
TUE-MOUNT KENYA MOUNTAIN LODGE
Depart after breakfast to the slopes of Mount Kenya arriving in time for lunch at the Serena Mountain Lodge (approx. 240 km). After lunch spend rest of the afternoon at leisure enjoying game viewing from the lodge balcony. Weather permitting you will have the opportunity to go on a nature walk led by a local guide. Dinner and overnight stay at Serena Mountain Lodge or similar.
WED-LAKE ELEMENTAITA LAKE ELEMENTAITA SERENA CAMP
After breakfast depart for the Great Rift Valley arriving in time for lunch at the Lake Elementaita Serena Camp situated on the shores of the lake within the Soysambu Conservancy (approx. 240 km). After lunch spend rest of the afternoon at leisure. Optional activities include bush walks with an experienced guide, night game drives in the Conservancy, safari sundowners and bush dinner under the African sky – all at extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the Lake Elementaita Safari Camp.
THU-MASAI MARA MARA SERENA LODGE
After an early breakfast depart for the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at the Mara Serena Lodge (approx. 370 km). After lunch enjoy a game drive returning to the lodge by late evening. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Serena Lodge or similar.
FRI-MASAI MARA MARA SERENA LODGE
An early morning game drive is followed by breakfast. (Optional Balloon Safari with bubbly bush breakfast-extra charge) Spend rest of the morning at leisure at the lodge enjoying the lodge’s facilities. Lunch at the lodge is followed by a game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Serena Lodge or similar.
SAT-NAIROBI
Depart after breakfast for Nairobi arriving in time for lunch (cost not included-approx. 370 km) and continue your chosen option or proceed to the airport for return flight home.
