Situated along the western coast of Karnataka, Udipi has a rather unusual significance - it is known as the holiest of the seven sacred cities in Karnataka and rightly so, as a visit to this small town of the three sthalas – The Anantheshwar, The Chandramoulishwar and the Krishna Temple, is a stimulating experience. As you enter the town, you notice the entryway adorned with divine forms. It was here that Saint Madwacharya advocated the Dvaita Philosophy. You don’t need to be spiritually inclined to pick this location.
